	The goal of the TRUCKEE POP WARNER YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING ORGANIZATION is to promote a deep appreciation of the game of football, and the sport of cheerleading.Ê We would like to accomplish this through positive coaching and healthy competition.Ê Our organization will strive to involve parents and community members who volunteer their time and knowledge to our children.Ê We will promote the development of our club so that it continues to grow as an attractive opportunity for involvement in sports for our children.Ê We will continue to provide a scholarship program to ensure all children are given the opportunity to be involved.Ê We will strive to maintain the requirements of high scholastic standards defined by the National Pop Warner Organization. Truckee Pop Warner is a member of Sagebrush Empire League, Division Two, a member of Pop Warner Pacific NW & WESCON Regions.

August 2nd Riverview Park in Truckee 11:00am-3:00pm. On-site physicals ($25) will be available. Order forms for Truckee Pop Warner gear will be available.

First Day of Practice
August 4th is the first day of practice at the East-West fields (Truckee High School) across from the teen center.

August 7th players will be fitted for game jerseys during pracitce AND order forms for Truckee gear are DUE.

Pre-Season BBQ
August 22nd TPW will host the annual pre-season BBQ at the fields after practice. Each family will be charged $15.00 for food and drinks. Players will issued their game jerseys with their names on them.

Jamboree
August 23rd is the Pop Warner Jamboree held at the NEW Spanish Springs Sports complex. NO food is allowed on the fields!
